Rustige camping. Leuke en lieve beheerders. Dicht bij een klein winkelcentrum. Ongeveer 5 minuten lopen. Waar je 3 veschillende supermarkten vind. Maar ook frituur en resturants aanwezig zijn. Zelfs een postkantoor. Verder goeie busverbinding. En dicht bij de Brunssumse heide.

Sehr netter Camping - Platz. Leider fehlt eine kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeit am Platz um Morgens Brötchen u.s.w zu kaufen.Auch die Stromabrechnung ist sehr kompliziert, eine Pauschale wäre sinnvoller.

We bezochten de Hitjesvijver voor 3 maanden tijdens onze verbouwing. Er is goed sanitair, veel groen, de plaatsen zijn ruim en er is een prima schoon zwembad. De service is oké.
Aanradervoor mensen die een verblijf in Parkstad en grensregio met België en Duitsland zoeken.

Super Mooie Camping! Vriendelijke ontvangst!! Proper sanitair & de kindjes hadden de tijd van hun leven met het verwarmd zwembad, mooie speeltuin en groot grasplein! Wij komen zeker nog is terug met mooi weer!

This place is the pits. Upon arrival we were told that they accept neither Visa nor Mastercard (but they have a credit card machine) and we were asked to pay cash (but were not given a receipt). The following morning they tried to charge us again. Naturally we refused and were prepared to call the police if necessary.
The site facilities are clean and adequate but EVERYTHING costs extra. You have to give an additional 35 euro deposit (in cash of course) for an electronic key which you then have to load with more money. This is used for various things like taking a shower or operating the hosepipe adjacent to each pitch (not that ours worked). The most annoying thing is that every time you place the key in the slot it deducts 6 cents - for nothing. It doesn't sound like much but with hundreds of people placing their keys everyday it must be a cash-cow for the owners.
The pretence of friendliness is a sham. We will never return.
