Ordered taxi today at 0730 for 0815 pick up catching train to airport friend waiting at station. Operator did say they cannot be responsible for any lateness. At 0830 rang again then they informed me it was Eyd and that I was second priority on their list. By 0850 I woke my neighbour who kindy took me to the station - I missed the train luckily we had open tickets. Taxi txt me on my arrival at station 55 minutes after my order time. Unacceptable business behaviour by Mercury Cabs had I been warned about a 50 min delay wd have had more time to make other arrangements.

Paying via email link, what a shambles. 3 attempts & they still appeared to want £130000.15 for a trip to Manchester & back. ALSO they want to charge £5 extra to pay by PayPal! This s**t system won't let me do 0 stars so 1 begrudging point it is!!

Not very helpful staff and very rude drivers,was waiting for a taxi for 45 minutes finally had to cancel hospital appointment due to this companies incompetence and lack of care. When we complained the chap we spoke to couldn't speak English and we could hardly understand him! Appalling service in Sheffield!

I never write reviews but this takes the cake. My job takes me around the country so I am on taxis at least 3 times a week and this is by far the most ridiculous company yet.
