Brilliant food in a cosy setting. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to sample a wide variety of Japanese cuisine.

Not impressed, my partner and I have travelled in Japan and had food from Japan's authentic Michelin star restaurants to eating fresh sushi at the fish markets - the restaurant is like the story of "the emperors new clothes." Just because it's posh doesn't make it great. There are so many Japanese family run businesses with sensational food at better prices, with better skill and a lot more heart. You want Japanese food- firstly go to a place where customers are also Japanese.

My favourite Japanese restaurant in London. Excellent sushi, but the fusion dishes are great and I always think it's worth ordering the specials. From the menu: the lobster miso, the miso glazed aubergine and the steak are firm favourites. It's small, but really worth going to. The sushi counter upstairs is a better choice for people who prefer to eat that.

Had a wonderful experience here, the menu reflects what sushi is supposed to be. No California rolls here, just good, locally sourced fish and an excellent output from experienced chefs. I truly recommend this as a luxury dinner for sushi lovers to experience what boundaries can be pushed with this culinary art form.

Splendid food. Fantastic flavours and textures. Each thing we tried was something new.
Not cheap. A little warm downstairs. But both inconsequential compared to the quality of food and service.

Menu quite long. Ask them to bring their suggestions. Makes life easier and provides surprises...
