Tourism If you really want to cut yourself off from the rest of the world, consider this tourist farm on Manilaid island, accessible by boat from Munalaid harbour, about 50km from Pärnu. Guests stay in various comfortable huts around the farm, and are entertained by the farm's owner and by the farm's dogs, sheep, geese and other animals. Do you have a large group? Up to 40 people can spend the night on fresh hay, if they're not allergic.
Breakfast included in room price, tent €5/person.
Cultura Parnu, also called Parnumaa is one of the fifteen counties in Estonia. Located in the south-western part of Estonia, Parnu is in close proximity to the Gulf of Riga. There are other Estonian counties that form land borders with the county of Parnu, Estonia. There are Jarva and Viljandi counties to the east of Parnu, while Latvia lies to the south of the county. County Laane and Rapla lie to the north of Parnumaa. If land area is taken into consideration, Parnu in Estonia is the largest county in the country.
One of the oldest human civilizations of Estonia is found in Parnu. Like many of the counties in Estonia, Parnu is also divided into several municipalities. These are again divided into rural and urban municipalities. Governor is the head of the county government in Parnu and serves for a term of five years.
