Absolutely go here if you like sour beers. Sour beer is king at Koelschip, and the bartender I talked to here was deeply knowledgeable on the subject, particularly when talking about true lambics vs kettle sours. The breadth of sour beers they stock and keep on tap should please the most particular sour beer drinkers.

My Favourite beer bar in Copenhagen. If you have a interest in sour, lambic, gueuze, and Belgian beers. This is THE place to be. They have have an amazing bottle list. As well as a really nice atmosphere.

So you walk along the Nørrebro streets and then you step down into a basement and all of a sudden you have entered something that looks and feels like a countryside barn house in Belgium. For me who knows very little about the world of sour beers it was a great experience. I told the the bartender and he helped me navigate in great manner, not the stuck up "know it all attitude" which is quite common. They know their stuff and the selection is impressive. If it gets to complicated there's a back room passage through to Mikkeller & Friends which the guy pointed out with a friendly laugh. So after checking all the four beers on tap and nice bottle of blueberry stuff we went over there also. I'll be back for sure.
