I have been going to Rila hotel periodically since 2 years ago, it is in the city center and fine for.few days.
During my last visit to Sofia, from october 5th to october 10th, I wake up with insect bites, I thougth the mosquitos did it, I found more than 15 bites, the last day I had more than 30 bites, definitely are not from mosquitos these are from bedbugs or fleas, please clean the rooms properly and desinfect them and be sure to stop the plague.

Very good prices for the rooms! Good service on reception! Everywhere clean! WiFi connection good in the rooms on all floors! Location - downtown, close to metro station.

It's not a renovated hotel, but ok for stops. The bad thing is the parking in front, and the lack of full informations about it, from the hotel staff and municipality employees. Even tough you pay, you may still get a ticket and car blocked for details that should be solved by the parking company. Not a great experience.

The situation is really great, 2 min walking to the city center. The views are also good. But the hotel is old, the furniture is also old. The bed was comfortable at least.

Great location. Owner very cheap. People working 16 hours for little pay. Charge to use the toilet and very dirty with no one to clean it. If I had such perfect location...I would keep it wonderful with many happy Bulgarian people and would put signs in English.
