Fridays and Saturdays awfully crowded, you should definitely call beforehand to make a reservation. Staff is nice and 100% bilingual, the place itself is the opposite of clean; if you don't mind sticky benches and tables and music so loud you can't hear your own word (music fri and sat. only), this is the place to go.
Sun-thu drinks are ridiculously cheap

We stayed at the Imlauer Hotel in Rotensterngasse in October 2014 and found this bar close by - the only decent bar we found in the area by the way. Great bar, great beer and great service at a good price. Nice atmosphere on an Irish theme. Good Guinness and Irish beers. Three dart boards available, clean toilets and a proper pub feeling. Will certainly go back on my next visit.
