Their authentic doctor fishes are toothless garra rufas who are the gentle masseurs and their massing effect creates tingling sensations that most first timers find ticklish. The moment the fishes contact your feet, you start giggling and laughing. And as the quote goes, "Laughter is the best medicine!" A few minutes of chuckling (others shriek out of sheer delight) then the medicine from the fishes (yes, the fishes emit protein and infused into our skin pores) start to kick into our nervous system and you begin to feel relaxed & relieved from your day's stresses. Actually their doctor fishes do feet reflexology & have medical benefits. To mention, relief from stress/fatigue/muscle cramps; reduction of arthritis pains/varicose & spider veins; improvement of health & sleep conditions; enhanced blood circulation. We initially started for only 15 minutes, but extended for another 15 minutes to avail their free 5 minutes for every 30 minutes and ended up for a total of 1 hour (w/ free 10 minutes) because it is very stress-relieving. Before the fish spa, they wash your legs & feet (to remove dirt and lotions w/c are toxic to the fishes). After the fish spa, they wipe your legs & feet (w/ disposable tissues)! An A+ service on both the fishes and staff! For only Ph50/15 min or Ph100/30 min (free 5 mins for every 30 min), you not only get more than your money's worth, you also get more than your time's worth of visit! Oh, I saw repeat visitors w/ underwater cameras and waterproof phones capturing their legs & feet swarmed with "small but incredible" doctor fishes. Lastly, if you have more fish, then you have more stress. So, definitely try out Goodwill Dr. Fish Spa!
