Really a great place for a romantic dinner, a short walk from the Fiesta Americana Hotel

My husband and I didn't like this place. The food is very expensive and not really good. My plate was burning but my food was not hot, I took a pulpo al ajo, it was not well cooked, I was expecting a crispy garlic but it was just not tasty and all soft mixed in too much oil. The overall was accompagnated by a small slice of banana floting in oil, same for the rice (plenty of oil) nothing was refined. There was also a bit of veggies, nothing exceptionnal. My husband took a fish a la plancha and got the exact same rice, one slice banana and veggies. Each plate cost approximatly 200 pesos (10€). We hate much better in other places in Merida for 130 pesos, even 90 ! They put everything in looks but not in the quality of the food. The waiters are always around you never letting you tranquille, passing in front of you doing nothing 15 times the time you eat your small plate. Well, we were very disappointed. Bad food in a sort of luxiourius place with badly trained waiters.

Good food, good place. High price but worth it.

Excellent seafood restaurant in Merida. Coconut shrimp are a must, as well as the seafood salad. Other great dishes we tried are grilled shrimp and the octopus in black ink. Service is good as well, very friendly staff and helpful staff.

Wow, great seafood! We liked it so much we came back on our return trip. Octopus, conch, shrimp and something called Periwinkle in a salad! Excellent.
