You can have either the individual booth or the regular seating depending on which floor you go to. If you're hungry, I recommend getting the extra serving of noodles and pork, the one bowl by itself was not filling.
It's very customizable and I enjoyed it, but you're better off experiencing ramen from a small restaurant that gets builds a lineup outside - two of my favourite ramen most of my favourite meals in Japan have involved some waiting and it has always been worth it.
However, this isn't a bad place at all if you want a quick, simple meal.

Nice price and taste! Seating is uncomfortable and relationship with staff impersonal :( Good if you want to take a quick bite alone.

Interesting experience of eating one's tailored cooked noodles after buying the tickets from the ticket machine and answering so many questions about how one wanted one's noodles to be cooked and prepared... Great fun. The seating arrangement, however, is totally anti social and less desirable.

Best Ichiran I visited. Nice open space upstairs, excellent service. Get extra noodles!

As a tourist the experience of this restaurant is awesome. You sit at a bar counter with separator walls between the seats. There is a wall between you and the staff, and the food is served through a window. There are two floors, the top one has traditional seating. Reasonably cheap and very tasty.
