Server speaks English well. Menu in both German and English.
Price of each dish is a bit high for Germany (around 20 euro for starters and 25-29 euro for main dish) but you get high quality creative dish.
Good lunch menu available for about 20 euro (2 course) and they offer a 3-course menu for about 49 euro (good deal if you plan to get starter and main). Main dish can be substitute with other one (not all from the menu) so you should ask if you prefer something else.
Complimentary warm bread was great. They do serve tap-water if you don't want to pay for water.
Try it at least once while you are in Köln.

As a (foodie) local, it is not easy for me to list down my fave restaurants. But Wein am Rhein managed to be on my list.
Its just the modern and cozy atmosphere, the outstanding service, the great German cuisine, wide range of Wine and fair price. This place is in Michelin Guide too.
