Super nice experience! Michael was super helpful for deciding both which game to play (amongst their 2000+ ones) and which cider to drink. We will pay a visit every time we come to Berlin. See you soon!

Awesome indoor activity to do with friends. Huge selection of games and reasonable selection of drinks. Fair prices for drinks, snacks and games!

Went with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. It was nice and quiet with an vast array of games! Not allowing WiFi access is a rare treat away from technology and it creates a nice chatty atmosphere.

So reasonable at €1 per hour and a decent drinks menu. If your looking to pass a few hours with friends definitely check this place out. Wish it was open all week though. 5/5 will go back!

This is a sweet little board game Cafe that has filled 2 and a half walls floor to cleaning with a variety of games. The nice part about this is that while many of the games are in German the owner will gladly look online for the English directions - but remember many of the tiles are still in German. This fact proved to be too difficult for myself and my friend who went so we decided to take a game which was easy to play (blokus).

The owner is particularly nice and will only charge you for the time you're playing games. My friend and I stayed late into the night chatting at a table and we were only charged for the time we were playing. I will definitely be heading back to this place again.

If you are looking to while away an afternoon or evening and you enjoy board games, consider spending some time at Spielwiese. For 1 euro per person per hour, you can play as many board games as you like from their excellent selection, or if you prefer the comfort of your own home (and, to be frank, the shop is not all that comfortable), you can rent a game for 3 euros per day.

They also offer reasonably priced refreshments, which is a nice accompaniment to the board game entertainment.

One or two games that I wanted to play weren't available when we visited as they were out on loan, which was disappointing, and the food selection didn't really appeal to us. 1 euro per hour is a fair price, too, but if you want to play a multi-player, long game (i.e. most Euro games), it quickly adds up to the point where you would have been much better off renting/buying the game.
