Have used Fleetways for decades, always on time (to be honest always too early but never a bad thing!) Courteous drivers and receptionists, will never go anywhere else for a taxi in York.

big user of fleetways as my method of transport back from work, i have late finishes that dont finish till 11pm, i choose to go with fleetways as i feel safe in their taxi's, all of the drivers are lovely and make sure i am always home safe, im sure i have met all of the drivers by now and they are lovely and chatty and could not fault a thing about them, the only problem i have and why i have given 3 star is because the past 4 or 5 times, i have booked taxi's for certain times, and they have not shown up or been 20 mins late, i am certainly not blaiming the drivers here as i dont feel it is there fault, i feel this may be a problem of the operators, not to mention they could be able more cheerful. i dont really want to put my buisness somewhere else however i spend around £35 a week on taxis, and for them to be late or to not show up i feel this isnt right. Thank you anyway

Car 567 picked me up yesterday and was highly professional. Took me on a scenic route to avoid major traffic on a bank holiday weekend. Made my experience to Castle Howard memorable, and I was able to call and arrange pick up quite easily. They even allowed for another couple to share the ride back into town. Easy to use and rates reasonable. You won't get that with Uber. The drivers are local and know the area. Will use again and recommend to everyone.

Having been both a Hackney and Private Hire driver I consider myself to be qualified to write this review.
Firstly the driver was named Andy, collecting us from Brownlow Street, destination was York Station. Pick was set for Midday and was on time and punctual he was a pleasant conversationalist which suited me. Finally it was a Bank Holiday when the Flag drop is more expensive but I considered the total fare reasonable, I will be seeking Andy again, should I be revisiting York.
