Manchester Airport Taxis

AWFUL SERVICE!!!!! Booked for the airport and got a phone call from the driver at the due time stating he was stuck in traffic (at 0230 in the morning?!) and would be with us in 10 minutes...which turned into 20 and then 30 minutes. Tried to call the so-called 24hour line and it went to voicemail. When we rang him back it was clearly a different man on the phone. Complete lies about this being a 24 hour service...driver obviously slept through his alarm. Would recommend streetcars instead - who came within minutes despite not pre-booking, and who charge a fixed rate of £18 to Manchester airport. As for all the positive reviews on their website...there's nowhere to even leave a review, and the ones that are written on there are clearly made up and laughably similar.
