Beaumont House

Disappointing. Advertised as a five star boutique hotel but doesn't even come close. We were kept awake from the crack of dawn by light coming through badly made and ill-fitting window blinds. I'm not talking about a few streaks on sunshine, it was like having a Gestapo lamp shone into your eyes with the beams also reflecting a mirror that had been hung next to the window. There were sharp metal bits sticking out of the sides of the bed. The hairdryer was old and covered in hair with no PAT test sticker. The bathroom ceiling was low. Breakfast was not up to scratch. We left a review on TripAdvisor and rather than try to admit any fault everything was dismissed by the manager as either us being bad sleepers or bring a minor oversight.

Superb service from Katrina, made us feel very welcome. Excellent rooms, comfort and luxury combined.

Accommodation nice and clean. Very friendly staff. A great breakfast in the morning to set you up for the day.

Cannot fault it. Friendly staff, helpful and welcoming. Beautifully decorated, super clean, and the breakfasts each morning were lovely. Would recommend to anyone. 😊
