Worst family room ever with insecure door leading straight into the street and loud street noise all night. Beds were uncomfortable. Its more like a 2 star B&B.

I ate here about 8 months ago and I still remember it fondly.I eat A LOT of Asian food, normally one or two nights a week as I travel on business and eat on limited expenses :)I can't recommend this place highly enough.A family run business (Dad in the kitchen, son in the bar, mum on front of house, I think)I felt very well catered for. Beautiful fiery chili chicken, comforting warming keema veg all with a home cooked feel. Far healthier than most Bengal/Tandoori restaurants, due to the absence of clarified butter. Mum was keen to enlighten me when I asked questions, and dad came up from the kitchen to ask me how the food was. He even brought me a black cardamom to satisfy my curiosity :) I've tried all of the Indian restaurants in Cheltenham and this one beats the lot, although it was made abundantly clear to me that Punjabi cuisine is NOT Indian ;)

Very good evening, the staff were attentive, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food is very good and a different selection and varied. The bar downstairs is a good place to wait and also finish off the evening.
