The food and drink was much improved after the pub was refurbished. For the past year, the food has been very poor. Why don't they do something about it!! I certainly won't be going to this pub again, at least not until I see consistent 4 star or higher reviews.

Good drink choices, generally get a seat. Food could be better but good for the price

This pub has moderately priced drinks, and after its renovation a year or so ago it has turned into a nice family friendly pub. It serves good food from a nicely presented menu, and has several screens dotted around for watching various sports. My local place for watching England play!
