Foreigners, or “aliens” as they are called in Thailand, have to pay 3 times the amount Thais pay even if they have a permit to stay in Thailand and are paying their taxes.

The former Grand Palace in Lopburi is worth every penny of the mandatory admission fee for Farangs, and most certainly worth your precious time. Don't just run through the park-like scenery, but take your time to embrace this gem of history, stunning architecture and breathtaking atmosphere!

A small museum inside that has many nice exhibition items from different era. And the ancient buildings are beautiful

Unseen historic place with well-managed

The grounds are really nice and there's a map but there could be better signs once you're actually inside, so you can make sure you've seen everything. The information is in both Thai and English, but unless you have a specific interest in the history then you might not find it particularly compelling. Entrance was higher than other Thai museums (150 baht).
