I remember the shock and horror like it was just yesterday. I used to live nearby on Rector Place and every day walk between the two towers to my office on Church Street.

I used to have nightmares about what happened, but coming back to the States, and to this memorial, has been very helpful.

Amazing tour. Our your guide was amazing. I was there with friends aiding the red cross at ground zero. Our guide really hit me.

Excellent place to fully experience audibly and visually the tragedy of 9/11. I went because I was a Gulf War veteran who had also helped during the rescue and recovery during the grim days following this event. The sights and sounds brought me right back to that day! I even saw a picture on the wall of a good friend who was a police officer that lost his life in that event. I sobbed like a child when I saw him, it's like I lost someone all over again. You get welled up in emotions in this place, but in the end you feel some closure and healing to have walked on the sacred ground where these victims have perished. The reflecting pools are magnificent and soothing. Visit this place if you'd like to experience true horror of what happened that fateful day. It's a trip I'm sure you'll never forget!

This Tribute is amazing. The family members of the 9/11 attacks had their hand in this Tribute. We met a survivor there. Her name is Adrian Pierce. She is an amazing person. Her story will change your life. We have a friend in her for life. We are so happy we had such a touching experience here. Send your love to the family members by coming here to feel their pain and energy.

This museum is so well thought out and the exhibits are fantastic. It is so sensitively done. If you were in NYC during 911, seeing it should be a must. The whole story is so well told, and the tributes to the victims and first responders are so moving. If you want to see everything, allow about 4 hours. Otherwise you might prefer to visit twice. Don't miss it.
