I love the menu, so many options. The sushi is awesome, super fresh. I have a hard time deciding on just one dish for dinner. The atmosphere is great. I love the old building.

I enjoyed my food and liked the atmosphere. However my date had some issues with her food. I will go back and give them another try.

Love it here! Crunch roll is excellent, California roll is delicious! Try the Singapore noodles! Not a fan of thir green curry it tastes like perfume.

I will never be back to this place. Service was slow, food was good, but not worth the price, and the host / hostess was rude and did not offer anything in the level of service.

My girlfriend and I had a 6pm reservation. We arrived on time and were told it would be a few minutes and to have a seat at the bar. No problem. At 6:20, I checked in at the host stand and the young kid told me it would be about another 5 minutes. At 6:40, I checked with the host and I was told from the same kid, "I thought you would have been right back up when I told you five minutes." I said I was sitting at the bar trying to enjoy my date and I can't believe I was expected to check back in with the host stand and that they were unable to come over to let us know our table was ready. At which point I opted to stay at the bar because we ordered as we had tickets to go to the Theatre and didn't want to be rushed. The female at the stand said in a snarky tone, "I'm sure you'll enjoy your meal."

Worst part about it, not even an apology was given. I understand things getting lost in the shuffle, or what a busy shift can do being a former restaurant industry person myself. But two simple words of, "I'm sorry" would have been appreciated and should be a standard.

I went to Basil's for the first time on a Wednesday night for dinner with my boyfriend. Every thing was perfect from start to finish. We enjoyed cucumber mojitos. For appetizer we had the crunch sushi roll and pot stickers. Both were amazing. My entree was pineapple chicken with white rice. My boyfriend had mango chicken with fried rice (we both agree the pineapple chicken was better). The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Food was served quickly. No complaints!
