Let me start by saying that I usually have very good experiences at corporate-owned Hertz locations and I usually prefer Hertz.
However, this is not a corporate owned location - it's a franchise location. I've rented three times from this location in the past few months. Not ONCE has the price quoted in my reservation been charged. The first time was off by a few dollars - not a big enough issue for me to spend time on it but annoying none the less. The second time, it was off by $22. $10 was erroneous, and $12 was for an extra hour. With my amex card, I have certain privileges at Hertz, such as a 4 hour grace period before any extra hours are charged (you can find that information right on their website). I called Hertz corporation (the national group, not the local company), who agreed that there was an overage that made no sense and that I shouldn't have been charged an extra hour, however, as it was a franchise, they transferred the call to the local company who is in charge (corporate employees cannot adjust franchise accounts). I spoke with the employee, who knew nothing of these benefits, didn't understand the rate difference, and referred me to the manager, who was not available. I decided to call back at a different time, but the manager was not available. I asked for a call back and have not received one to this date. The third rental again was not commensurate with the rate quoted online - this time off by less than a dollar. My car was returned with full fuel and I was charged for $17 in fuel. I've since sent out an e-mail and received no response. All of my future reservations have been transferred to National car rental and I would really encourage others to avoid this particular franchise (although not Hertz in general as they tend to be quite good). I would also encourage potential patrons to the Billings area to price shop. This hertz is less expensive than the local enterprise, but runs significantly ahead of prices for the local National, who has a better fleet.

(One other note: this location classifies a Buick as a luxury vehicle when this is only a premium vehicle at other rental companies.)

Fast, friendly and professional service late at night. I brought a car in on a one-way drop-off on 2/15/2017 arriving around 10:30pm, the desk was staffed with a friendly person who helped me right away. Great service!

My flight arrives around 1 am and still there is Hertz personal waiting there to help me get my car. I understand it's within their business, but I really appreciate the service!
