Stayed here whilst visiting the Hallamshire Hospital. Great location and free parking which is great as this area is crazy busy for parking. Very nice friendly service & great price with free WIFI and breakfast included!

Nice clean bedrooms and good quality free hot drinks available on every corridor. Will be staying again when visiting this area.

Attended a lovely wedding here at Halifax Hall which included an overnight stay. The room was spacious and clean, although lacked air conditioning which could be problematic in the summer. We stayed in October so couldn't tell. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help you. It was lovely. The breakfast was lovely with quality ingredients used as opposed to the usual cheap sausages you come to expect at hotels! The biggest thing I would propose is better signposting for disabled/pushchair access on the estate as it's difficult to find the way through the university halls which is the only way to access Halifax Hall without steps!

Excellent service. Very polite, attentive and helpful staff (students?). Impeccably clean rooms & en suites and comfortable beds. The food was good apart from the sweet (cheesecake) which was in a glass and more like tasteless 'biscuit powder with cream' than the cheesecakes that I'm familiar with. Excellent overall. Congratulations.

We stayed here for our son's Wedding. We arrived on Friday and had a lovely family meal in The Warden's Study. The food was delicious. The Wedding itself took place in The Ennis Room which was a beautiful setting, looking out on to the garden. After the ceremony we had drinks in the Music Room. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Dining Room and again the food was just perfect. The staff were all very cheerful, friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time, thank you.

Stayed here for the wonderful wedding of Fran and Dale and it was just lovely (the wedding and the hotel!). Good sized room with incredible bathroom, beautiful venue and incredible staff. I was incredibly impressed with how well my severe nut allergy was handled... it was taken seriously and the staff both catering and non-catering were knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do. They asked me questions when required with dignity and respect and didn't make me feel 'fussy' or 'difficult' They were the absolute perfect example of how a restaurants and caterers should deal with not just severe allergies and anaphylactic reaction like mine, but with all allergies. The food itself was amazing, and the same goes for their breakfasts. Thank you so much for quite possibly the best service and the best treatment I've had when eating out in a long time; no stress, no embarrassment, no feelings of missing out and wonderful food. Excellent.
