Excellent customer service (thank you Jonathan and team!) The facilities are lovely and I enjoy going to classes. While the gym is busy during peak hours, I rarely have to queue up and wait for the showers

Very dissapointing. I attended this "establishment" yesterday and was "greeted" by a very passive aggressive so called personal trainer. I am not a big girl, however when discussing joining fees with a specific staff member called Max, she informed me that I that I was in need of personal training sessions however that they were very expensive. Almost as if she was implying I was too poor for this gym. She offered me personal training from home, however I said I don't have the space at home. she said I don't live far from here so we can meet in a park. I was staring to feel pressured and uncomfortable. I said I'm not happy to do this as I'd rather just join the gym were I can use pool facilities. She told me, the swimming pool will not melt my fat away and that I have a lot to loose. I am only 9 stone. I will no longer be joining this gym, as I have been told I am fat, I am poor and I do not appreciate being spoken too in an aggressive and sarcastic manner. Very dissapointing virgin. I'd expect higher customer service considering the prices (which I can comfortably afford thank you max).

I've been using Virgin for 1 years now maybe a little longer. I use to be at the Angel Branch. The reason I've rated the gym as 3* not because of the location which his great and how clean the gym is( very clean). But the facilities, it is meant to be a tier 1 gym, which means the best facilities in London for the premium . If you check the equipment a lot of the benches are run down and wobbly. Or if you try and use some of the machines and the rub has worn off. I would have rated it 4.5 if only they upgraded their equipment. New gym feel with some old facilities, disappointed

It's a good place, but a bit pricey at over 150 pounds a month and does not have a lot of free weights. Also you would think they'd have more reasonable times of operation, work out moods hit you at a lot of times, I'm not asking for 24/7 but to close at 6pm so many days a month, give me a break!! Have more reasonable hours to get in there and work out, especially at that monthly price. It's 5:45 and I want to work out and can't so instead I write this review.
