I really like the gym and facilities. However, I was not impressed to find my number was given out and to start receiving text messages from a ‘personal trainer’. Not very professional and if I want a trainer I would have asked.

Amazing atmosphere ....great facilities and everything is clean and tidy ...a pleasure to use this gym ....I love the swimming pool and the hygiene that goes along with it ...

Excellent standard of indoor running rowing and cycling machines, huge floor space for callisthenics workouts, wide range of free classes offered in the studios including team-based spin, and very high spec lounge and locker rooms. I regularly use the pool, which is usually quiet enough for lane swimming and is not too chlorinated; a luxury in London. Only downside is that some other VA clubs offer free coffee and this one dies not.

For a gym that is suppose to be the premium location of the Virgin Active family, this gym is absolutely appalling.

The gym floor equipments can do with updating. The worst thing is the group exercise studio floor. They are a healthy and safety risk, the floors popping up and sinking down, which I have been tripped several times and almost ripped my trainers (see pictures). We were told it would be fix in the beginning of the year, then March then May. I still have not seen any work being planned. The Yoga studio is not much better as it has no temperature control. It is often too cold.

Additionally, the online booking system is terrible - the popular class is always fully book or wait listed but when turning up it is not always the case. They let members book the class but do not care if they actually turn up. A lot of people will book classes for won't bother to cancel it if they can't turn up as there are no penalties for not turning up/cancel

The men's toilet is absolutely disgusting. Two out of Four of the urinal is always blocked (Always a bucket under it). I think for a gym that charges close the £200 a month, it is not worth the money at all. Be careful if you are thinking of joining. Look out and maybe wait till work is done before join in.

Recently transferred here as it's more convenient for me near work.

There is plenty of equipment and the times I go - early morning or late evening - are never too busy.

Layout is nice, but the TV's are a little far and I do miss the games function I had on the same treadmills at Repton Park.

There are plenty of showers and towels are provided, my only other real critique is that you still need to bring your own padlock when other collection gyms seem to be moving over to NFC wristbands.

I think for the location and opening hours, it's really fairly priced and I do recommend it to people
