This place is very spacious. Under a dome roof. Packed with open-plan restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Cinemas, family atmosphere. No crowds of people milling around. Lots of closed-down modern shops on the first floor. A lot of staircases. Place was a bit cold. The downward escalator was not working.

I used to love Whiteleys..but where are all the shops gone?
This place used to be packed with restaurants and many many brands. Now the whole food court on the 3rd floor is empty.
There are a handful of shops on the 2nd floor. Not what it used to be.
But the building is beautiful.

Ideal way to watch a movie snuggled on a comfy sofa. The magic button that summons beverages and a reasonable selection of hot food makes for a civilized experience. Good value for money considering how much better the same movie would be at your average cinema.

This is awaiting renovation into flats, shopping and hospitality. Until then it is a mere shadow of a shopping centre. Hopefully in a few years Whiteley's will improve the quality and atmosphere around queen's way.

Shopping center looked very quiet (Thursday around 6pm) not necessarily bad thing but very odd for such place. Very spacious and easy to find what I wanted. Nevertheless, I was opportunity for refurbishment. Also it had plenty of space for renting which indicates business in here doesn't go very well (i guess)
