Lovely place to just look around even if you don't plan on buying anything. I could easily spend hours in here. The place is beautifully set up and everything invites you to look at it. The employees are kind and helpful and will answer any query as best as possible even if they know you are not planning on buying anything from their store. The place is easy to navigate with labels around indicating which section you will enter, and I must note that the escalators are beautiful. The atmosphere is nice as it is never too crowded since the area is large.

Another must go to place when in London. Just went in the food halls, some stuff not so over priced. Staff very polite and smart. As it near Christmas some nice different stock - an advent calendar with different teas in. You have to buy something so you can walk around with one of their carrier bags. Saw the champagne/caviar bar and restaurant area but didn't dare look at prices, nor did we want to

6 floors of absolute madness! Incredible selection of the finest goods in the world. But buyer beware: everything is at a premium price. Definitely worth checking out, allow yourself a couple of hours if you have the time.

Not really a Shopping person but had to see Harrods while in London. Food hall is always the place I like. It has an amazing selection of goods. I have a tip for travellers... You can buy takeaway food in the hall that is really good and well priced. Women will love the multitude of stores inside the building.

Spectacular store with an amazing selection of everything high-end you could wish for. The food hall is amazing and it's very easy to spend lots of money in there without trying. The only downside and the reason I've given it 3 stars is that whilst walking around the department selling china and glassware (where I was thinking of treating myself to some whiskey tumblers), my partner overheard a member of staff saying that they were keeping an eye on me and they were worried they couldn't see what I was doing. They then sent someone over to keep an eye on what I was up to - which was browsing the goods looking to spend some money. Needless to say that once I heard this story, my wallet didn't come out of my pocket. I fully accept that they can't trust everyone but this incident left a VERY sour taste in my mouth.
