Stupid system where you have to pay to be a member to sit in their 'wine room' (read: lounge bar) .

I understand they they're a business and have to generate revenue from their floorspace, but don't welcome me in one day without mention of membership and then refuse my entry next visit. I had planned my day around spending a few hours working here in the afternoon and now I'm pounding the pavement looking elsewhere.

Not sure if the woman and the reception did not want to help or just did not realise how much of an imposition it was.

Small rooms, with comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms. Great nights sleep.

One issue - the wooden shutters were impossible to align and close properly - so there was more light in the room that I'd have liked early in the morning.

The bar area and lounge are lovely, but the rooms leave a lot to be desired, it looks like a student halls of residents if I'm honest. Also the walls are exceptionally thin, so I was woken at 5am by the gentleman next door talking on his phone.

The tea and coffee making facilities are communal and located at the end of the corridor, which is very odd? Why not install a kettle in each room, who wants to wander down the corridor and queue for a morning cup of tea?

Would I use this hotel again, probably not, it's not to the standard that I expect and over priced for the room quality and services.

Great meeting place with really good service. However I ordered the baked posted egg for breakfast and is was totally overcooked. Upon complaining (politely!) the manager immediately offered to take it off my bill. The fresh juices here are absolutely lovely. Great vibe and a good meeting place for me and my colleagues. Plenty of electrical sockets and good WiFi too. Lovely decor.
