Great size of room, excellent location near The Royal Albert Hall. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

My partner and I booked a night at this hotel as we were visiting London for a show at the Royal Albert Hall. Now due to the price of this hotel and the 4 star rating, I did not expect to have to check and make sure the room and the facilities were clean. The iron provided with the room had something melted to the bottom, which subsequently ruined my dress when I tried to iron this the morning of the event. I was extremely disappointed with the managers reaction to this. Instead of the apology I think I was owed, I was instead shrugged at and told it was not a hotel issue and it is up to customers to make sure everything is clean. I do not pay 4 star rating costs to check over the room and make sure facilities are clean, neither do I expect to be treated with such indiifference and lack of interest when I go to complain about the incident that has taken place. Extremely disappointed with how the manager handled this whole incident. We were then told we would recieve an email with details of the compensation the day after and we recieved nothing. What was meant to be a nice and relaxed weekend was ruined by how the incident was handled by certain staff members.

Nice place. Nice staff.Remember to top up bacon after 9am. Excellent brakfast.Clean rooms.Super marked and starbucks behind the hotel 6 minutes to go to Hyde Park take bus 10 Oxford Street. Long walk takes 8 minutes to go Royal Albert Hall.
Close Gloucester tube stations.
Travel Buddy was excellent.

Superb. Not too many frills attached but a great place to stay. Staff were fantastic throughout our stay.

Excellent, just out of town location with great transport links to get back into the city.

Comfortable, spacious, clean. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. A pity there is no restaurant. Bar selection and bar service disappointing. In the future, I'd suggest changing the black and grey paint as it affects a welcoming atmosphere. Just a detail
