stayed there in Aug 12 to 20th.very comfortable and clean great breakfast and great location.linens and bathrooms are very clean.the reception is most friendly. Shall definitely stay there in next London visit

A very nice hotel with a little quirk. The room here was very comfortable if a little on the small size. The hotel has a sister hotel across the road which is where you have to go for breakfast. Breakfast consists of full English, croissant, cereal, fruit, toast and jam or marmalade and tea and coffee as you like. It is not a buffet. I had no complaints about the food.
The breakfast room is a little small (it seats 24 people) for the size of the two hotels (about 38 rooms) given that breakfast is included.

The staff were mostly friendly but one of the catering staff was horrible. The breakfast was not good and the room was just small. Considering the price however, it's ok.

Bed Bugs.

I do not recommend staying here until they tent the place. My first room was infested with bed bugs. To remedy this they just put us in another room across the street no compensation offered.

They do not know how bedbugs work, moving us without offering us access to laundry facilities, it's likely we brought bedbugs from the first room to the second.

Low rating due to inexperienced management, no compensation, and bedbugs.

Pros: wifi access was good, room size was good and the front desk manager was nice. Would rate higher if the hotel properly dealt with its bed bug problem and with us.

Infested with BED BUGS. Literally the worst hotel stay I've ever experienced. Booked one night and after waking up found the room was full of bed bugs!

On further inspection there were several blood stains on the bed sheets which were obviously not new, anyone cleaning this room should have seen these and not ignored them!

I managed to catch 3 of them and brought them to reception and the guy working there did not seem to be shocked at all. When I asked to speak to the owner / manager, they were nowhere to be found.

I demanded a refund to which he did process but at no point did I get the impression the staff member really understood the gravity of the situation.

Bed bugs are incredibly difficult to get rid of and once we got home we had to spend hours quarantining and cleaning everything we had with us. Several items that could not be cleaned properly had to be binned!

After looking back through reviews for this hotel, you can see they have had a pattern of complaints regarding bed bugs spanning back over a year so clearly not properly resolved the issue which is a serious health hazard. I will be reporting them to the local Health and Safety Executive.
Who knows how many guests have unknowingly brought bed bugs back to their homes!
