A rude Spanish guy at the canteen, he gave me 8 fries for a meal that i pay £5.20 as a non student. If he is not happy in his job he can leave. Why is he rude to people who bring money to the university?

I got into Chelsea School of ART and did a diploma IN 1984-85 when the College was in Manresa Road,Chelsea and Bagley's Lane Branch .....
That was the worse thing that happened to my Career ...and I wasted 9 years as a result of it after...trying to do a Foundation course....
What happened was I found the year I was in very unpleasant as I was supposed to do the previous year but was told to go away and take a GCE in English Language... The Teachers here couldn't have been more useless...
They called me into their board meeting to tell me MY sister had written a "poisoned pen letter" about me . They told me to read it but I refused.
At the start of the course I couldn't get a draw for my work and was forced to share with an Italian Girl....
An employee of the college told the whole class ,college to fill out a form we were given and hand it in about ratings and statistic.. We were to fill out an assessment as first comers without even experiencing the course first...this was more than manipulating the ratings it was corruption...
This is something you do at the end of the course not in the beginning.

It is a lovely college with beautiful old building very close to Tate Britain. It is lovely place to research and study.

One of the worst student supports at University.
NO grant money for international students.
Specially for BA 3rd year financing support is extremely poor.
How much tuition fee international students pay EACH year? over £13,000 !
But not even £100 is not granted for the final year international students who are having their degree shows for the university.

This University is not worthy to invest such amount of money for international students.
Their system is not fully prepared, they invest money to pay their debts and salary for the president, not for students.

sorry.

I went to see MA Fine Art and Textile Design Postgraduate Show today, alongside Open Day. I know the college has long history and high reputation. Better building than the time I was there years ago. Next to Tate Britain the environment is so good for studying. Workshops are probably one of the best in London, at least. With higher tuition fees nowadays, visit on Open Days across the UAL and other art schools, which is best suit you well before applying, especially if you're an overseas student. (If you have complaints, BA students! speak to Student Union while you're there!)
