Best pub in London, been coming here for 5 years and was there during the same night as the lady below me. These guys handled it as well as they possibly could have. One of them even disarmed the guy demanding free drinks who also pulled out a knife. Much respect to the staff. The lady below me might as well have been with the instigators the way she's talking. On a lighter note, biggest terrace in the area and best place to be on a sunny day. Pints are more affordable than 99% of the pubs around and the fish stew is as good as it gets. Next time try that instead of your silly crisps which are...by the way, 60 pence cheaper than the pub across the road 👍

A great bar with great staff and great food. Always busy during summer months due to the outside area this is a well known and renowned bar for excellent service, excellent food and by the chef and a great barman are local favourites who make the bar what it is. Highly recommended.

Bar brawl involving customers, waiters, chef and staff broke out yesterday. Badly trained staff refused drinks to 3 angry men and fighting ensued. The staff had NO IDEA how to handle the situation, there was no one visibly in control of their pub. Chef got his tshirt pulled off and threw a few punches himself. Mums with babies scrambled over the benches as the fight broke out trying to leave the uncontrolled situation. 7 police cars & 12 cops arrived within minutes and they handled the situation like professionals. Should never have got so out of hand, looked like there was something more to it. Ridiculous place full of idiots and overpriced drinks that I wont be returning to. £1.40 for a packet of salt and vinegar crisps! With a free side of violence to boot! Plenty of well run places nearby.

We booked for Sunday lunch as the google review was high; we were very disappointed on entering. It was very quiet: that explained why everywhere else was fully booked and it was easy to get a booking there. The staff didn't seem attentive and the place looked old and quiet. The location within nothing hill is great and they have a great 4.0 review on google; with this they should revamp the place and update the look/staff and improve customer service and this place could be amazing like in the past and it could be a gold mine ( hint hint owners! -spend some money and time). I definitely will not be returning unless they have a relaunch with improved look and device. Very disappointed. We ended up going to prince Bonaparte; amazing service, great good and such great ambiance/atmosphere (busy here)
