It's such a shame that the staff here are so bad. I went a year ago and left my jacket behind, I called to see if they had it, they said they had it then suddenly it had disappeared, it was clearly stolen by their staff and I was never compensated despite the dog n pony show they put me through. I went a couple weeks ago and we had a group of twenty people that didn't know eachother that well all for my cousins birthday, we probably filled upwards of half the till, and after the smallest incident between two young guys they kicked all 20 of us out including my parents and auntie and grandma, it happened to be 30 minutes before closing coincidentally. I didn't personally know the two boys neither did my family. It's a shame that the staff are rotten like that though because its a really nice set up for a pub with nice food. The tall manager with beard seemed like the biggest prick amongst them, I'm sure the rest followed suit.

Don't come here for a Sunday roast. The beef was tough and tasteless. Bland undercooked food with things on the plate that had no place there. Curried sweet potato!? With a roast beef!? Stewed onion, courgette... No. No. No. Just no.

Came on a Sunday for a nice roast. Well big disappointment. Food needed salt and that coming from me is bad... I barely need salt in my food. Courgettes, caramelised onions and sweet potatoes marinated in curry are not part of a Sunday roast! Is in my neighbourhood but I won't be coming back unless is just for drinks in the terrace area. I would say... avoid for food

Nice, chilled out pub. Cool staff. I had a salmon salad. The salmon was too salty, it hadn't been rinsed properly after curing. The presentation wasn't the best either and it is definitely overpriced. Other than that it was nice enough. The drinks are expensive too. I wouldn't come back, due to the prices. Which is a shame as it's a nice place to hang out

My mum and I had the nicest afternoon here yesterday. We popped in originally to watch the end of the Murray tennis match in their lovely beer garden. We ended up staying for food and to watch both the Federer and Nadal games. Food was great - in particular the fish and chips - the fish was amazing. Mainly though the experience was so good because of the service. The two bar men were really lovely - helpful, funny and efficient. This pub has now topped by list of favourite places.
