i ordered a monkfish and prawn curry and I have to say that it was without doubt the tastiest dish I have EVER eaten. Beautifully done.

Restaurant is nice enough and the entertainment is very good.

Reception staff seemed most concerned with the state of their nail polish and make up then the actual customers flowing through the door.

So I wasnt blown away with the service. but the food was amazing.

I would return however; entertainment starts around 10pm

Cost of meal, £85 for two with a desert.

So disappointed is an understatement.
Service slow. Drinks all warm and told this is how they serve them???who drinks warm beer???? Staff rude. When management questioned about all this they had a total lack of customer service still no apology. Disgusting.
On a plus side good was nice. But when you have travelled with a family for a special occasion from far away you expect the restaurant to deliver what it says on the web
Will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone..

Horrible restaurant- avoid at all costs. Went here with 3 of my friends. Took 10 minutes to get water.. Waiter finally bought the water and poured about 50ml per glass. When asked to provide a jug, they said they can't do that. The clumsy waiter served one of the plates of food over the cups of water which made it spill all over one of my friends which drenched her and her chair. We asked for napkins and a new chair which took about 10 minutes to arrive.

Food was average but service was appalling. In the end we refused to pay for the service charge which resulted in the manager coming to our table, disputing this with us and telling us that we ought to pay as his staff work very hard. When we explained why we wouldn't be paying he was very rude and confrontational and said that he gets "irritated when customers don't get 3 course meals and don't pay service charge".

Overall a very bad experience. It's a shame as the setting of the restaurant is beautiful and it has a lot of potential under the right management.

Visited Buddha Bar for afternoon tea. The savoury selection was very good. Some of the desserts were still half frozen. We had to remind staff that we had ordered drinks after waiting for half an hour and already finished the first course of our tea. We then had to ask for the tea menu at the end as we had not been offered any tea. Lots of staff and not much service.

This place was so disappointing, went here last year for my birthday with a group of friends.

The service was slow, to the point I had to leave my seat to find a waitress in an attempt to garner some information as to where the drinks were that we had ordered; half an hour beforehand.
They brought the stater and main courses at the same time. The table was ram packed with plates. The food was lack lustre on top of that, I'm sorry to have to say.
The only bit of that meal I enjoyed was the noodles and that's a poor show. Given the high end status of the restaurant.
The only positive about my experience with the Buddah bar (the actual day of my birthday) was the entertainment and the people who were there and up for some fun and laughter.
Thus this is most certainly not a venue I would be quick to go back to ever again. Under any circumstance.
