As an American, you might wonder why I chose Spain to study entrepreneurship! As it turns out, not only does Spain offer amazing weather and and a "work to live"(not live to work) lifestyle, but entrepreneurship in Spain is exploding as never before with an amazing amount of entreprenerial infrustructure, accelerators, incubators, and government initiatives. This new entrepreneurial push is supported by programs such as the MBA In Entrepreneurship program offerd by Madrid´s Complutense University - on of the country´s premiere institutions. I completed this program in June 2014. During the program, I learned from a diverse range of knowledgeable academics and passionate entrepreneurs who, as a whole, perfectly balanced practical experience and advice with start up theory. Spain is a passionate place, and the best part of this program was the passion shown by both teachers and students alike. Professors offer one-to-one counselling and students quickly bond together to work on projects during and after class. A very cool program.
