5 star because of the cleanest and whole area of this place. Nice bungalows which are in good condition.
Small pool with few attraction there.
Local restaurant - well, I had that feeling that it is there because of it is a must to have a restaurant on the site... I do not recommend. (so minus 1 star)
About mile from the town and sea so if this is too much to walk for you then find different place... Or get ready to use taxi.

I Dave will say very nice camp site, we'll run and very clean
Great British atmosphere we stay again v soon
If you need a caravan brinking to Spain
where on eBay and if your looking to buy you will save a lot of money buying in the UK then buying in Spain let us source a caravan and pay for it for you then pay us when we deliver

(Review from summer 2015)

I've visit camping armanello in Benidorm for the past couple of years suring summer holidays. Camping armanello is the only campsite I've ever stayed at in Benidorm so I can't really compare how it is. There are many problems with camping armanello which is irritating as they've only started to appear over the past two years. Firstly Wifi. I know you're supposed to be on holiday so you don't need wifi but this is the 21st century and people like to stay in contact through the Internet instead of paying expensive network charges. The wifi was free until 2014 where you had your first code free and then payed for for further codes, which was okay because not everyone needs the Internet but 2015 was the year you had to pay for even the first, can't quite remember what the price was but it was expensive! Talking about expensive, ten year old children are classed as adults therefore have to pay even more money to stay there! So my question is camping armanello, are ten year old allowed to purchase alcoholic drinks for the bar? Speaking of the bar, they serve ice cream and lollies like any bar in Spain obviously would, because it's so warm. The prices for said ice cream and lollies selection is quite overpriced and not stocked enough at the bar, meaning if you was in the mood for a chocolate magnum ice cream then you're probably out of luck beause you will have to have whatever they have at that time. Plus, the bar staff are quite poorly trained because sitting down like guests speaking to the regulars instead of taking orders at the bar is exactly what bar staff do. The pool was best thing about the site, nice to cool you down on the hot days until you touch the dirt that's at the bottom of the pool and even some that floats at the deep end of the pool next to the bar. If you're going to swim in the pool which I suggest not to pass out, don't wear goggles or take in a underwater camera because it will gross you out. Last, but not least there is a man working at the site, quite old looking that rides on a mobility scooter everywhere. Doing his oddly looking chip shop rounds for the regulars driving all the way to the restaurant at the top of the site and driving them all the way back to the lounge zone, he drives very dangerously. Me, with my younger sibling and cousin almost got knocked over by said worker in the green staff shirt as we left the lounge zone and ignorantly continuing his careless driving and not even stopping to apologise! As I said at the beginning, me and my family comes every year to this site as it used to be very enjoyable. This year, we shall not be returning as its not worth the money anymore. Neither will my cousins and their family shall be returning.

I'm actually very disappointed in this site now as it seemed more family friendly a few years back but now more for the older adults that don't really use the facilities.
