Awful experience. $3300 Aus dollars for 6 days in budget bed hotels telling us the good rooms were booked out when we arrived.. Tour guide was Sotari. His idea of 'meals included' meant sitting with my husband and I drinking/eating with us and telling the waiter dinner is on him. When lunch wasnt included he sat with us and sometimes we paid for him. He had an expired (full) passport going through the border and wanted to detour, made racist remarks along the way, ran out of petrol (left us in a small town waiting for hours) untill he found a petrol station and had an expired first aid kit when i was cut bleeding. Also he was texting and driving over 100km/h (i have photos). He did no night driving and every destination we arrived late, sometimes in the dark as he got lost with his old maps as he didnt know how to work is old navigator. He would complain about the tolls as if he was paying when we paid for the tour including tolls. We had to hold the map and tell him where to turn. He took us into malaria prone areas without any protection but when we booked we were told he would have tablets and jackets. He took his dslr camera and would ran off and take photos like it was his holiday. At one road he wanted to charge the elephants as he didnt want to turn back or reserve slowly, he had no idea. It was so awful we flu home early after 4 days in tears. He knew nothing about the country, we asked why is this place called 'Gods window', he said in his greek accent 'because why not, God is Good'. Save your money, seek a tour with someone who is passionate about the country, the history, animals and nature. We got ripped off, dont make the same mistake.. Hope this helps.

Sotiris is an inspiring guide and makes it possible for you to change the touristic sites to more individualistic wishes, if you are more interested in peoples daily lives. Talk to his charming assistant Nosip at the small office at the Waterfront and you learn a lot about the life of a young Zulu woman. Ask Sotiris to bring her along on the trip, she has different stories to tell.
