I would have given no star if possible. The wifi doesn't work. Heating system is sometimes malfunctioning. The bed very uncomfortable with bed sheet not big enough. We had to wait one day for the heating to turn on.

Rezerwacja dla 7 osób zrobiona z półrocznym wyprzedzeniem, zaliczka wypłacona człowiek przyjeżdża a nie ma pokoju . 400 km przejechanych na próżno. Obsługa opryskliwa i zero pomocy w rozwiązywaniu problemu. Szczerze Odradzam. Syf kiła i mogiła.

AVOID!! It's a waste of my time to describe what kind of shithole this place is but I'll do it. I've never met such a rude and incompetent service in my life. What's worse they pretended not to have reservation at first and then claim that I was guilty BECAUSE I DIDN'T CONFIRM MY RESERVATION VIA PHONE. What kind of person you have to be to behave like this. Try somewhere else.

We have new location, Zaroślak street 12. Try our new rooms. the new location is working from one year now and we are trying to make a new atmosphere and new history of the Baltic hostel. The oldest opinions than one year ago are not actual, so don't take it seariously, and check new location by yourself:)

Because other hostels were full we had to settle with this one, but after one horrible night we decided to cancel the next night and ask our money back. It was a sum of problems: kitchen facility was dirty, the only one computer was to slow for the internet, the bathroom was unhygienic (used condoms in shower and clogged toilets) and teenage girls screaming and banging continuously on the doors in the night even though there was a reception in the same hall. In conclusion: the worst hostel I have ever been in my life.

Time this place got an updated review, obviously. It's pretty grim, grizzly, and shabby. One-storey building on a bombsite with windows wide open as you walk up, curtains flapping around (security, people!). Ugly dark neighbourhood with nothing of use or interest particularly nearby. On the whole the location is handy for the train station etc., so it depends on your priorities. Bed ok, two showers for a good-sized hostel seemed a bit stingy (no door, no lock on them, just a curtain). Bread and jam breakfast included (again, stingy). Towel was a useless DFDS hand-towel (swiped from the ferry company). Cheap in the dorms but not the private rooms. Wouldn't stay in a dorm because anyone can walk in and out, no-one on reception most of the time. Cars pulling up and leaving again all the time, who knows why... Oh, and they disappeared off Hostelworld and they didn't honour my deposit. Choose wisely, there are dozens of great hostels in Gdansk!!
