So interesting. Hope you get a guided tour. Definitely check it out. Great piece of Cebu history at this old Jesuit house.

I've been wanting to visit this museum in the old Parian District of Cebu and finally got the chance this time.

Kept inside an unassuming grubby hardware is this house used by the Jesuit Missionaries during the 1700s. Standing at this door and getting through it into the house felt like being transported to the Spanish collonial era.

Located inside one of the oldest house in Cebu City, Museo de Parian sa Sugbu offers travellers and locals alike knowledge about what life is like in Parian. The Parian is one of the most important bussiness center of Cebu during the Spanish Era, 1560s - 1890s.

A miniture of the old town, medieval Chinese ceramics, old maps and pictures, and old antiques are just one of the historical jewels waiting for you to discover here. The tour guide will definitely tour you around the entire house, from the kitchen, to the bedroom, etc...

Its a must visit itinerary. Don't fell disappointed if the house is hidden inside a warehouse, what matters is the inside not the outside.
Tip 1: The price is P50.00, if you're a student, bring with you an i.d for a discount ( not sure if they do this still but its better to be prepared)
Tip 2: There are no refreshments inside but there is a nearby sari-sari store outside
Tip 3: You can take pictures wherever you like. Don't be shy and ask the tour guide any questions about the house, they can surely give you an answer.

This unique museum setup tucked inside a warehouse, after wading your way through hardware stuff a centuries old coral stone building will greet you.
