We booked last minute. Usually dont opt for 2 stars hotel. However, clean rooms, beds and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. I would rather bedding is fully white but, it was clean. Towels quality could be improved. Checkout at 10:30am. Between center and parking. Nice area.

Our experience was from Nov - 2011.

NOTE: Cinque Terre are old picturesque towns, comprised by old, and I mean old building structures, if you are expecting a Hyatt type commodities you are sorely mistaken.

PROS:
- Walking Distance from Riomaggiore train station (consider this town is on a slope, so expect some up-hill walk).
- Restaurants and mini-markets adjacent to hotel.
- CLEAN.
- SAFE.
- Free Wifi.
- Free Breakfast (Loved the atmosphere of the morning kitchen).
- Decent room space (for European standards).
- Great view! (our room overlooked San Giovanni).
- Reasonable price.

CONS:
- Tiny staircase (however we expected that).
- If you plan to stay in this town during the winter, make all your food/water shopping in the morning as they close early in the afternoon.
