Lovely Stay. We stayed in a tent for 7 nights on a sea view pitch.
The site was very busy but we weren't impacted by that on our pitch.
It rained very heavily on one night and we were lucky to be on a raised pitch, many others had floods through their tents and awnings.

Again a very pleasant holiday. Our little family stayed with our caravan again in the foresty part of the campsite, very quiet, very nice neighbours, very large patch. Close to bathrooms etc. but not unpleasantly close. Just this time (we stayed in June 2016 as well) we had a sandy/dusty patch and not grass, therefore it was somewhat dirtier and messier.
We were already prepared for the lacking toilet seats and brought our own, and could be seen walking with our own toilet seat under the arm to the restrooms. Overall, we were very happy about our very nice, albeit short, stay.
The beach, however, was not as clean as last time, everyday we found and collected considerably large and sharp fresh glass shards and long sharp wires, which could have been very hazardous, especially to our baby. That was not a happy experience, and we expected the beach to be at least raked periodically for such hazards.

Good for mobile homes, not so good for tents. Our stay would be good if it wasn't because of the ants and the street lantern located right next to our place.

They gave us something for the ants, but they returned the next day.

The facilities where good and clean.

Overall, I would not recommend this camping for people with tents.

Not a great experience, no privacy on pitches. A bit too rustic. British managed and owned I understand. Marginally cheaper than la marina which is also a disappointment.

At least you can book online, unlike its neighbouring site.

Overall, I think the area of grimaud needs updating and has become a little run down in the last 10 years.

I guess it's why so many French now take holidays in Spain, much cheaper too.

Camping was fine, but not very special. The distance to the showers was very far and we also did not know there was no water at our placement. The restaurant was fine but also not very special. Very good were the people at the reception, very very friendly, with a little joke every now and then! Thank you.
