Rooms are clean, bed is comfy, wifi is good and the room keys work every time. My must haves for any hotel stay. Breakfast buffet has a good selection. Staff is very nice and accommodating. This is my goto hotel whenever i am in Guelph .

Holiday Inn provided the worst service I have ever experienced. Staff made me feel insulted and humiliated!

Our party had a reservation for a four-course thanksgiving meal, arrived on time for our reservation and waited for 20 minutes without service before leaving because staff did approach us. The waitresses looked at us every time they walked by, but none of them provided us with service. Other guests seated after us received their drinks and appetizers while this was happening.

I am not sure why we were treated so poorly because we were dressed well, polite to the hostess and did not say anything rude to anyone. After leaving we went to another restaurant where we received excellent service.

Just experienced the Thanksgiving brunch. Couldn't locate the room. Then we entered a cold, depressing banquet hall. No thanksgiving decor or pleasant atmosphere. Food rates a 1 out of 10. Not real Turkey, Turkey roll? stuffing like a dry hunk of bread, veggies overcooked and over salted
Nothing fresh left for dessert. ALL store bought stuff. Not worth the money, will never return.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. My parents had their wedding reception here. It is still an awesome family-friendly hotel and I tend to compare all others to this one (probably because of my early memories).

Indoor pool and shuffle board and a really good restaurant and bar makes this place a great stay!

I deducted one star because some of the rooms are starting to look a little dated, but the comfort level is still great!

The front desk help was pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was fantastic! Not too soft, or hard. The pillows we're not flat. Since we were there during the weekdays, the kid noise was relatively low, and the best part was that it was dog-friendly. The meals were very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely go back.
