Most over-rated restaurant on the island. Service is brusque and indifferent, and don't even try to get a table here without a reservation (even when the entire dining room is empty -- literally). Rustico must have had a different chef and a degree of humility at its old location, but to my mind, the food, value and hospitality at the Village Pantry are far superior.

What a disappointing night at Rustico. I ordered the Wahoo on the recommendation of our waiter. It was so salty I couldn't eat it. I sent it back and by the time the second dinner came out, our friends had already finished their dinner. The second order of Wahoo didn't have the salty sauce, but was completely over-cooked and dry. We have always loved going to Rustico, but I don't think we will ever go back. On a brighter note, our friend had a pizza that was delicious. The $12.00/glass of wine was a half glass which isn't uncommon in Bermuda, but I am so sad that the dinner was such a disappointment. This has always been one of our favorite dinner spots on the beautiful island of Bermuda, but we will be looking for a new gem.

It is a very popular place to eat from what our hosts told us and it was very busy the night we came here to eat. We had called ahead of time to see if we could get in (most places seemed to require reservations) and whether it was a casual place or more dressy. We were told casual, but that means something completely different to the restaurants and people in Bermuda than what we are used to.

I wore a polo with khakis and my partner wore dress jeans with a nice long sleeve shirt, however when we walked in we felt instantly under dressed as all the other men were in dress shirts and pants while the ladies wore really nice dresses and even the kids were dressed up!

They had an excellent menu to choose from and while my partner's food was fantastic (pizza, I think it was brick fired), I had a completely different experience. The steak I ordered only had about 5 edible bites to it, the rest was very fatty. I can say that my sides were delicious and enjoyed them very much.

I wasn't charged for my dinner and I appreciated them doing it, especially since I wasn't going to ask and it was pretty expensive. That shows they have good customer service and respect their patrons.

I'm trying to figure out how people look so nice with their hair in place, clothes not wrinkled and generally not messy when they use scooters to get around. And while I know they drive actual cars and share rides, there were a lot of scooters there they night. I need the secret please! :)
