I was glad with the food but the service at the end was appalling. The woman behind the bar was extremely rude and unable to answer my questions when I asked for the price of an item I had ordered. She couldn't or would not respond to my question and pretended not to be able to speak English. This is another reason I do not understand why migrants come to an English speaking nation and then refuse to learn the English language. Pure foolishness! And then they have the audacity to write up the bill in Chinese script and to charge you without you finding out what precisely you are paying for. After all, you have a right to know!
The food was no more than what I would find at any other yum cha restaurant and I was not happy with the service at all!

The main area of the Brecknock may now be a Chinese Restaurant but the corner bar remains open as an Irish pub. Best Guinness in Adelaide.
