Absolutely Disgraceful place needs to be shut down also reported the whole place is a danger hazard the pictures of the rooms are false the rooms are dark cold ,dingy ,smelly musty & dusty ,carpet was putrid dirty & full of stains dust mite haven ,for sure the air conditioner /heating was old and very noisy we didn't use the bathroom was full of mould it was on the walls & the ceiling ,in the shower grout also there were tiles missing also broken tiles on the shower floor ,which is dangerous ,the shower curtain was mouldy & smelt stagnet the shower plug hole in shower was full of hair ,water temp was hard to adjust & poor pressure ,the beds were old & uncomfortable they were like sleeping on a concrete floor.we found , the staff rude ,unprofessional ,also unhelpful the 2 girl managers who worked in reception & the gaming room were both Rude ,have arrogant attitudes & should not be working in hospitality or manager positions both incompetent !! all staff dressed terribly & few of them looked grotty on our arrival the gentleman working was horrible grotty quite rude didn't offer us assistance /help with our luggage to our room & could see we were struggling they had no equipment or trolley to help , we noticed he was the only staff member working ,we stood waiting 10 mins for him to show us how to use lift wow the lift is a nightmare way to old dangerous & sure was a scarey ride, but there is no other way to get upstairs to rooms only flights of stairs We made our booking online unfortunely & once we arrived paided a $200 bond & 3 nights accomodation when we got to the room we were shocked at the disgrace of it ,We wanted to leave and ask for a refund so from our experience & our advice to others is don't stay here it's DISCUSTING BEWARE !!!!

Old old old, and showing its age. I had a lot of trouble checking in, double booked Yada Yada. Bed was comfortable. complementary breakfast was appreciated

Every good review is written by an employee or one of their mates. This place is so seedy we payed, saw the room and left. No refund. We payed to not stay.

Room smelled of bleach yet still didn't seem clean. Hairs on the beds and sink. Shower barely worked and was 1/24 of a centimetre between melting your skin or freezing your toes off. Beds are reminiscent of lying on the floor, namely because they collapse so far that you are on the floor. Heard every sound from every other room making it impossible to sleep. The night manager was friendly and helpful but sadly couldn't make up for the hotel itself. Okay in a pinch, but not recommended.

Amazing old hotel. Absolutely STELLER. Ignore all the uptight reviewers on this page. Those people need to be staying at grey places done up by the cast on the Block.

This is an OLD hotel with OLD fixtures and features. One must LIKE those things to appreciate the majesty of this place. If you DON'T like this sort of thing, go elsewhere. There is a perfectly good Adina down the street that would love your business. Everybody else, PLEASE STAY HERE! It's beautiful!
