APOLONIA
Apolonia (archaeological park) is placed in the vicinities of Fier city. It is one of the most well known archeological sites in
Albania. Some of its most attractive parts are the odeon, and the courtyard of the monastery wherein there is a Byzantine arch-style church of the 14-th century A. D. Here you can see some monuments like the encircling wall, the Bouleterion, Stoa, the Mosaics House and the Nymphaioum.
VLORË
The ancient city of
Vlorë is situated bank of the bay that Karaburun’s peninsula, Sazan’s island, Nartë’s barrage lagoon and the Southern Lowland continental terrain gives form to it (as a bay)… known in the Hellenic Αυλών), meaning “valley”, in way to describe (as the Ptolemey did) the Geo-morphological concept… It is in the same parallel with the Balearic islands (Palma De Mallorca) and the Thessaloniki bay in
Greece. Its geo-physical positioning gave an extremely importance in space-time in several fields of life (such as defense, goods transportation support and commerce, fishery, mountainous and seashore tourism etc. ). The complex terrain composition and as a perfect Mediterranean Biome-chain with Mallorca’s and Thesaloniki’s climate the gives wonderful natural dimensions for ideal holidays…
