Went a handful of times with my other half or friends as it seemed a passable central meeting place in Blackheath pre-curry; beer generally ok-ish but marred by the miserable sod manning the bar and his abrupt, rude manner. Won't be going back as last time we were there said miserable sod served me a pint which was clearly, demonstrably OFF (to the extent that it even smelt vinegary) and REFUSED to change it when politely asked to. Just not on when there are plenty of other pubs in the area serving decent ale. Britannia (Wetherspoons down the road) is a better alternative - cheaper, better kept beer and certainly not any rougher than this dive.
