Good place to eat fish, plenty of tables. Staff were nice, there was no kids menu but they did offer kids sized portions (and prices) of some things in the menu such as the fish pie, goujons etc. The oysters were fresh and cold, just the way they should be. Great place for a good catch up with friends.

This was a great restaurant for lunch. The fish dishes, starters and mains were all fresh and flavoursome. I would particularly recommend the fish curry, subtle but tangy. Also a grown up dining space. Not too formal but not too loud. Service excellent : )

This is such a little gem in the heart of the merchant city in Glasgow. The restaurant is small and cosy with so many nice little touches like fairy lights to set the ambience. There's an amazing selection of drinks behind the extensive bar. I had the scallops and black pudding to start with a lovely creamy sauce. It was well cooked and I couldn't fault it! The others in my party had the daily special of halibut and mackerel and both received good reviews. For mains I had the daily special of cod and beans which was just gorgeous. The others in my party had a lobster and the whole sea bass both of which were perfectly cooked. By the time the deserts came (sticky toffee pudding and Millefeuille) we had consumed too much wine to remember to take a picture. Will definitely return here. Great atmosphere, staff were friendly and food was amazing

Honestly, this is one of the best fish & chips places I've been to. The service was perfect, the guys were really friendly and they cared a lot about me. They kept reassuring me that there was no problems with my allergies while always keeping a smile and a positive attitude at work, which sadly you don't see enough these days.
As for the fish and chips, it was really tasteful, especially the fish. It was fresh, crispy, not too oily, perfect portion... I highly recommend this place for any of you who are looking for a traditional, quality fish and chips.
