Unfortunately under new management customers get less food for same price. For example set dinner for one person couple months ago offered 8 sweet and sour chicken balls. Now offers only 5. 2 slices of chicken disappeared from chicken chow Mein... Smaller portion. Prices still same or slightly chipper. Generally disappointed. Probably last time placed order there.

Under new management. The previous and retiring chef definitely took the recipe book with him. Food just not as good anymore.

Ordered 3 meals .. house special curry egg fried rice .. chicken curry egg fried rice and half a roast chicken with onions mushrooms and gravy costing £18.70. what I received wasn't my usual order it was disgusting .. got the two curries ok but only only quarter over cooked chicken and very soggy chips soaked in gravy and a bag of prawn crackers !!!... is Eastern Star under new Management ??? it's not upto their usual standard and I will not be placing an order with them again ... Disgusting none of us enjoyed our meals.

Had food from here on three occasions. Always fresh, and of good quality. Excellent. Best thing about Coventry!

What a difference a week makes. It's changed owners, an its now 1star. They have changed the salt and pepper chips, using rubbish chips and putting a few onions and chilli on top but still charging £3.80. Beef with mushroom poor. Msg added to food as was super thirsty after. Won't be back.
Had food from here on three occasions. Always fresh, and of good quality. Excellent. Best thing about Coventry!

Me and my girlfriend have never been here before. First impression of them is absolutely excellent! For a few reasons... firstly, we ordered and then couldn't find a cash point near so it took a while, we phoned back to apologise and tell them the situation only to find they had cooked our order again fresh for when we were ready.
When we did finally arrive he had it ready for us to take and we went and sat just outside before we started doing our paper round. He came out to us with an extra tray for us to use to share the food out and some plastic knives and forks and checked the food was hot enough and okay.
The food itself was actually very nice as well, good quality and fresh :-) they made mine and my girlfriends day, what lovely people. 👍🏻
