We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Spacious cosy environment with bar facilities and food. Breakfast was very good quality. Room offered privacy and decor of a high standard. Would recommend and it's in walking distance to city centre.

I found a foreign object in my lunch, my meal was taken off the bill with no fuss. Otherwise nice place with good service.

Excellent sticky toffee pudding. We stayed at a guest house across the street and the host highly recommended grabbing a pint and the Cullen skink (it was delicious) at the Ferryhill House Hotel. The service was great!

Went for lunch. There's a lighter bites menu and the full menu available. The lighter menu has CLT which is crispy chicken, lettuce tomato in a bun served with coleslaw and fried. For a lighter bite this is actually pretty large. Decent stuff. I'd prefer they sold more craft beer. There's an ale or two on tap but this is all a bit 10 years ago for the beer enthusiast where it's a couple of ales and many generic lagers available which by 2017 is really poor

The food for our group of 7 arrived very quickly after our order, although the place was quite busy at lunchtime. I ordered a chili which was excellent, slightly spicy. I had a wonderful sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All for a reasonable price. The staff were nice and helpful. I will definitely come back!
