Staff couldn't speak English well enough for basic requests. No proper maintenance of the entire facility. You can clearly see the wear and tear of a once luxurious hotel. Standard deluxe rooms are next to highway, which makes it very noisy.

The sarann is a wonderful place. We had sea view villa with private pool for honeymoon. People were nice helpful, our property was always clean and we received several voucher to use for spa and restaurant. Restaurant is really good with exotic coctails. I did not find same quality with western classics like bloddy mary. There was limited vegan/vegetarian options, unfortunately. The spa is a must to try if you are at the sarann. Lovely staff, they helped my shoulder syndrom to just go away with two massage sessions in a week. I was amazed, I never thought that it can get well. Overall I gave 5 star because you can always have your lunch or dinner somewhere which fits you better.

The staff are incredible, so friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was really good and reasonably priced. Steps lead you straight down on to the amazing beach. My wife and I had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Room is a bit old, even though the ocean view was pretty good. The hotel didn't have enough stuff and you need to be super lucky to book the spa. The hotel is a bit far away from Chaweng beach and the shuttle buses only run twice (one way) each day to the town (13.00 & 17.00), so prepare to pay some high tax fares if you just wanna have dinner in town.
